Pollyanna never had it so good
What is failure? Really? Merely “success that hasn’t occurred yet.” Very heartening to anyone, anywhere, trying to accomplish anything. (Perhaps Townsend has a future career as a motivational speaker?)
(Yes, I’ve read Pollyanna. Although she was very chipper, she didn’t stoop to poli-speak.)

Success and failure are very closely related. We cannot have success without first experiencing some failure. It provides lessons needed for success.
Ro,
Very true — BUT I certainly don’t consider failure as “success that hasn’t occurred yet” (this piece was discussing finding Osama). Failure is simply failure, period.
