A man should never be ashamed to own he has been in the wrong, which is but saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.

Pollyanna never had it so good

What is failure? Really? Merely “success that hasn’t occurred yet.” Very heartening to anyone, anywhere, trying to accomplish anything. (Perhaps Townsend has a future career as a motivational speaker?)

(Yes, I’ve read Pollyanna. Although she was very chipper, she didn’t stoop to poli-speak.)

Success and failure are very closely related. We cannot have success without first experiencing some failure. It provides lessons needed for success. :)

    Ro,

Very true — BUT I certainly don’t consider failure as “success that hasn’t occurred yet” (this piece was discussing finding Osama). Failure is simply failure, period.

Book #2 is on its way. Slowly. But getting there.

I've discovered the pleasure of working with Brian Gardner's WP themes. His free stuff is nearly flawless and his more expensive stuff is mind-blowing. Although his work is easy to use right out of the box, there's infinite fun to be had by customizing (i.e., destroying) it. As you can see here.
